I think many of us have been waiting a long time to hear these words, to see the church take a stand and provide guidance as to how our world treats the animal kingdom.
Our society needs to be reminded that God’s creation included ALL species of sentient beings; and at the end of the day, how we treat them reveals who we are. Younger generations seem to understand this, so there is hope that we can create a more compassionate world.
